Životni vek čoveka znatno je duži u odnosu na prethodne decenije, pa se zbog toga i pomera granica odlaska u penziju. Uz sve blagodeti savremenog života, ljudi se više brinu o sebi i svom zdravlju. Plan je da se život još više produži i zbog toga je na Harvardu sprovedeno istraživanje o ključnim navikama koje bi mogle da trenutni životni vek produže za najmanje 10 godina. Ovo su rezultati:

NE ponašajte se U SKLADU S GODINAMA
Studija na 660 volontera starijih od 50 godina, pokazala je da su oni, koji su pozitivnije gledali na starenje, živeli u proseku sedam i po godina duže. Istraživanja su pokazala da je starenje ionako samo 10 posto genetika, a 90 odsto životni stil. Ljudi stariji od 80, imali su pozitivniji pogled na život i svet oko sebe. Bili su i društveniji, ali i zaposleni i nakon penzionisanja. Pozitivno razmišljanje smanjuje stres, koji, zna se, ima razarajući učinak na zdravlje.

NE idite RANO U PENZIJU
Odlaganje penzionisanja možda vam zvuči nebulozno, ali može vam pridodati godine života. U studiji, zdravi ljudi koji su se penzionisali sa 66, umesto sa 65 godina, imali su 11 posto manji rizik od smrti. Čak i oni koji su bili narušenog zdravlja, kad su se penzionisali, imali su devet odsto manji rizik od smrti nego oni koji su prestali da rade samo godinu dana ranije.

Postanite RODITELJ
Ljudi s decom žive barem dve godine duže nego oni koji se nisu ostvarili kao roditelji. Razlog je taj što su ljudi bez dece ranjiviji, s obzirom na to da nemaju jednaku podršku bližnjih. Emocionalni faktori imaju istu težinu kao i telesni.

KLONITE SE BOLNICA
Pacijenti koji dosta vremena provode u bolnici, iz kojeg god razloga, ranije umiru, i to ne zato što su bili bolesni. Istraživanje je pokazalo da je trećina pacijenata starijih od 70 i više od polovine onih iznad 85 godina, bilo u lošijem stanju nakon izlaska iz bolnice.

ŠETAJTE 
Ljudi stariji od 40 godina, koji redovno šetaju, žive duže nego oni neaktivni. Svetska zdravstvena organizacija tvrdi da minimalno 150 minuta hodanja nedeljno može dodati i do četiri i po godine vašem predviđenom životnom veku. Fitnes gradi mišićnu masu i poboljšava kardiovaskularno zdravlje.

Ne zaboravite na SEKS
Ljudi koji vode ljubav najmanje dvaput nedeljno, imaju čak 50 odsto smanjen rizik od smrti u poređenju s onima koji seks upražnjavaju manje od jednom mesečno. Muškarac koji ima 350 orgazama godišnje živi u proseku četiri godine duže od onog koji ne zadovoljava ni četvrtinu toga.

Dovoljno SPAVAJTE
Nekoliko studija je pokazalo da ljudi koji premalo spavaju, kao i oni koji spavaju previše, skraćuju život:

  • MANJE OD 6 sati sna u kontinuitetu povećava rizik od prerane smrti za 12 %
  • Još više šokira podatak da oni, koji spavaju DUŽE OD 9 sati noću, taj isti rizik  povećavaju za čak 30 %.
