Kakav utjecaj ispijanje kave ima na našu jetru i zdravlje općenito, objasnili su u Klinici Mayo u SAD-u. Ako popijete dvije šalice na dan, evo kako to utječe na vaš organizam…

Kava sadrži dobre stvari za naše zdravlje pa tako i za jetru. To su antioksidansi, hranjive tvari i vitamini.

Visoke razine antioksidansa pomažu spriječiti pojavu različitih vrsta karcinoma

  • jetre,
  • grla,
  • usta,
  • prostate,
  • debelog crijeva.

Također, kava sadrži polifenole, biljne spojeve jakog antioksidativnog učinka koji sprečavaju upale u mozgu.

U Klinici Mayo u SAD-u kažu da ispijanje kave može imati brojne zdravstvene prednosti i da ona štiti od pojave:

  • Parkinsonove bolesti,
  • dijabetesa tipa 2
  • bolesti jetre, pa čak i karcinoma jetre a takođe
  • poboljšava kognitivne funkcije i
  • smanjuje rizik od depresije. Studija iz 2013. godine, napravljena među studentima, pokazala je da rizik od suicida za 45 % manji kod ljudi koji popiju 2 do 3 šalice kave na dan.

Najveća studija do sad napravljena je na 400.000 muškaraca i žena u dobi od 50. do 71. godine, a trajala je više od deset godina. Otkrili su kako je kod onih koji piju kavu manja vjerojatnost da će umrijeti od:

  • srčanih bolesti,
  • bolesti dišnog sustava,
  • moždanog udara,
  • ozljeda,
  • nesreća,
  • dijabetesa i
  • infekcija
Ovo su neke od hranjivih materija (u 250 ml kafe):
  • Mangan – 3% RDA (preporučenih dnevnih potreba)
  • Magnezije – 2% RDA
  • Kalij – 3% RDA
  • Vitamin B1 (tiamin) – 2% RDA
  • Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) – 11% RDA
  • Vitamina B3 (niacin) – 2% RDA
  • Vitamin B5 (Pantotenska kiselina) – 6% RDA
  • Fosfor – 1% RDA
  • Folna kiselina – 1% RDA.
